Claiming a plot is the whole onboarding. There's no tutorial level and no waiting room — you pick a building, pay once, and it's yours. Here's exactly how it works.

Step 1: Explore the city

Head to the city and walk around (or fly — nobody will judge). Unclaimed plots are marked and show their price. Take your time: the district matters more than the exact plot, because the district sets the whole aesthetic around your building.

Step 2: Pick your tier

• ▸Edge plots ($5) — affordable corners of the city, perfect for a first building.
• ▸Standard plots ($25) — busier streets with more foot traffic.
• ▸Prime plots ($600) — landmark locations in the heart of the action.

Every tier gets the same tools: naming, paint, styles, destination links, and the guestbook. The tier changes the location and the bragging rights, not what you can do.

Step 3: Claim it

Hit claim, check out with PayPal, and the plot is yours immediately. Your building gets a default look and a placeholder name — both of which you'll probably want to change within the hour.

Step 4: Make it yours

This is the fun part. Rename the building, pick a paint color, try a style, and — most importantly — set a destination link. That link turns your building from a pretty object into a front door: somewhere visitors can actually go.
