Terms of Service

PlotTwist is a digital city-building game and marketplace. When you "claim," "buy," or "own" a plot or building on PlotTwist, you are acquiring a virtual good: a digital collectible recorded in our database. You do not acquire any real-world property, land, intellectual-property rights, or ownership interest in any physical asset. All plots remain the property of PlotTwist; your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable (except through our marketplace) license to display, customize, and link your building.

You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use PlotTwist. One account per person for paid features; abuse of referrals, quests, or check-ins may result in forfeiture of coins and rewards.

Coins are a virtual currency with no cash value. They cannot be redeemed, transferred off the platform, or refunded except as described in our Refunds Policy. Prices are shown in USD; a 10% platform fee applies to marketplace resales and is shown transparently at listing time.

You agree not to:

• Use PlotTwist for fraud, phishing, or to mislead visitors about real-world ownership.
• Post building names, descriptions, billboard content, or messages that are hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or infringing.
• Automate visits, clicks, check-ins, or purchases (bots, click farms, scripts).
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or circumvent moderation or rate limits.
• Use the platform to distribute malware or collect others' personal data.

We may remove content, suspend listings, or suspend accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, under our moderation policy.

We review user reports and may act on building names, descriptions, billboard content, messages, and profiles. Enforcement can include content removal, listing cancellation, coin forfeiture, and account suspension. You can report content from anywhere you see the "Report" button, or through the help button in the app.

Except where our Refunds Policy provides otherwise, all sales of plots, upgrades, billboards, and coins are final. The 10% resale platform fee is non-refundable once a sale completes.

PlotTwist is provided "as is." We may change features, prices, events, or quest rewards at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
